Seekrun Smart Dropper S8 Wireless Electronic Dropper Seatpost
Upgrade your mountain bike with the Seekrun Smart Dropper S8, a wireless electronic dropper seatpost designed to give you quick saddle-height adjustment without the hassle of routing a traditional dropper cable through your frame. Lower your saddle for steep descents and technical trails, then raise it again for efficient pedalling on climbs and flatter sections.
The S8 features a claimed 0.03-second response time and a sealed IP67-rated design to handle dust, mud and wet trail conditions. Its wireless remote keeps your cockpit tidy, while the rechargeable seatpost battery takes approximately one hour to charge. (Seekrun)
With the Seekrun app, you can customise control settings, adjust partial extension, monitor operating cycles and activate the seatpost lock. The modular design is intended to make servicing easier over the life of the product, while the electronic anti-theft function adds another layer of security. (Seekrun)
Key Benefits
Wireless electronic operation — no dropper cable routing required
Claimed 0.03-second response time
IP67 protection against dust and water
App connectivity for custom settings and maintenance monitoring
Adjustable partial extension and seatpost lock functions
Electronic anti-theft functionality
Approximately one-hour charging time
Designed to operate in temperatures down to -15°C
Modular construction for easier servicing
Available in multiple diameters and travel options, subject to availability
Who is the Seekrun Smart Dropper S8 best suited for?
The S8 is ideal for trail, enduro and all-mountain riders who want the convenience of electronic saddle-height adjustment without adding cables to their frame. It's especially useful for bikes where cable routing is difficult or for riders looking for a clean, modern cockpit setup.
Important Fitment Information
Before ordering, check your frame's required seatpost diameter, available insertion depth and suitable dropper travel. The correct travel depends on your frame dimensions and your preferred riding position.
