The RockShox Rear Shock Bushing Install/Removal Tool 00.4315.026.010 is a dedicated workshop tool designed for removing and installing DU bushings in rear shock eyelets and sealheads on many RockShox rear shocks.

What it’s used for

  • Removing worn DU bushings from rear shock eyelets
  • Installing new bushings without damaging the shock body
  • Working on both:
    • Eyelet bushings
    • Sealhead bushings
  • Commonly used with:
    • RockShox Deluxe
    • Super Deluxe
    • Monarch
    • Vivid
    • SID Luxe
    • Some older rear shocks using standard 1/2” hardware

Key features

  • Precision press-fit alignment
  • Helps prevent:
    • Crooked installation
    • Damaged DU bushings
    • Scratched shock eyelets
  • Workshop-grade steel construction
  • Designed for standard 1/2” x 1/2” rear shock hardware interfaces

Typical process

  1. Remove mounting hardware from the shock
  2. Position the extractor side of the tool
  3. Press or thread the old DU bushing out
  4. Align the new bushing carefully
  5. Use the installer side to press the new bushing in evenly
