Motorex Bike Carbon Paste 100g
What Is It?
The Motorex Bike Carbon Paste 100g is a specialised assembly paste (friction compound) used when installing and securing carbon and aluminium bicycle components such as seatposts, stems, handlebars, and sometimes pedals.
Unlike regular grease, it contains fine micro-particles that increase friction between clamping surfaces, allowing parts to stay secure at lower tightening torque, reducing the risk of damage—especially on carbon parts.
Key Features
- Increases friction between clamping surfaces (carbon & aluminium)
- Allows secure clamping at lower torque settings
- Helps prevent slipping seatposts and stems
- Reduces risk of carbon fibre damage from over-tightening
- Protects against contact corrosion (galvanic corrosion)
- Helps prevent creaking and movement in cockpit parts
- Makes future disassembly easier
- Often includes a built-in applicator brush (100g tin)
