The Maxxis Rambler 700×50C SilkShield Tubeless Ready is a wide gravel and adventure bicycle tyre designed to balance low rolling resistance on hardpack and asphalt with dependable traction on loose or variable surfaces. Its closely spaced, ramped centre knobs roll efficiently, while the more widely spaced side knobs provide predictable cornering grip.
The 700×50C version uses a 60 TPI folding casing, Dual Compound rubber, and SilkShield puncture protection, with Tubeless Ready (TR) construction. Maxxis lists the 700×50C SilkShield/TR version as part TB00172700, with a published weight of 675 g on its current Canadian specification page.
