The Leatt Gravity 4.0 31.8mm Stem is a lightweight MTB stem designed for riders who want precise cockpit setup, strong steering control and plenty of adjustment flexibility. Built from forged and CNC-machined aluminium, it offers a strong, compact construction without adding unnecessary weight to the front of the bike.
One of its biggest advantages is the very low 27mm stack height, which gives you greater freedom to position spacers above or below the stem when setting your handlebar height. This is particularly useful on bikes with limited steerer-tube length, while the 5mm rise can add a small amount of front-end height without significantly changing your reach.
The 31.8mm handlebar clamp is designed to offer a slightly more compliant feel than a 35mm cockpit, making it a good option for riders who value comfort as well as control. A wide 60mm clamping area helps provide a secure connection between the stem and handlebar, while the zero-gap faceplate design promotes even clamping pressure. The reinforced faceplate bridge also adds torsional strength and can accommodate accessory straps.
The Gravity 4.0 is available in 34mm and 44mm lengths, allowing riders to fine-tune their steering response and weight distribution. The 34mm version is the more responsive option, while the 44mm version provides a slightly more balanced cockpit position.
