The SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type Mechanical Trigger Shifter is part of SRAM’s new Transmission ecosystem, designed to deliver modern shifting performance, improved durability, and simplified drivetrain setup for 12-speed MTB systems.
Using T-Type actuation, it provides a more controlled and consistent cable pull compared to older Eagle mechanical shifters, resulting in cleaner, more precise shifts across the cassette. The updated ergonomics improve lever feel and reduce shifting effort, especially on technical climbs and rough terrain.
A key feature is the Single Click design, which limits each lever press to one gear change. This is specifically engineered for E-MTB use, helping reduce drivetrain stress, chain wear, and potential damage when shifting under motor torque.
It also shares SRAM’s modern Stealth cockpit design language, integrating neatly with brake levers and tidy cable routing for a cleaner handlebar setup.
