The Shimano SH-XC702 is a high-performance XC MTB shoe built for riders who want a stiff, responsive platform for fast riding and racing. The carbon-fibre-reinforced nylon midsole has a stiffness rating of 9/12, giving you efficient power transfer while the low-profile construction helps keep your foot stable over the pedal.
The Surround Wrapping upper creates a secure, close-fitting feel around the foot, while the dual BOA L6 dials allow independent micro-adjustments for a precise fit. Shimano's DYNALAST shape, Powerzone forefoot guide and breathable synthetic leather, mesh and TPU construction make the XC702 suitable for long XC rides as well as race day.
The ULTREAD XC rubber outsole provides dependable grip when the course gets loose or technical, and the reinforced spike mounts allow you to fit additional toe spikes when conditions call for more traction. The XC702 uses a 2-bolt SPD cleat system and weighs approximately 320g per shoe in size 42.
