The Shimano SH-RX800 is a lightweight, performance-focused gravel cycling shoe built for riders who want serious pedalling efficiency without giving up the ability to walk when the route heads off the bike. Its stiff carbon-composite sole and Shimano’s DYNALAST fit make it particularly well suited to fast gravel rides, racing and long mixed-surface adventures.
With a stiffness rating of 10/12, the RX800 provides a firm, responsive platform for putting power through the pedals. The Surround upper wraps securely around the foot, while the BOA IP1 dial with micro-adjustment makes it easy to fine-tune the fit while riding.
The outsole uses lightweight, abrasion-resistant TPU lugs around a recessed 2-bolt cleat mount, giving you useful grip when walking over gravel, dirt or rough sections while keeping the shoe relatively light. It is compatible with Shimano SPD 2-bolt cleats and MTB-style SPD pedals.
