SCOTT MTB Vertec BOA Cycling Shoes – XC / SPD
The SCOTT MTB Vertec BOA is a performance-focused MTB cycling shoe aimed at riders who want a stiff, efficient platform for XC, marathon riding and racing. Its carbon-fibre composite sole with a Stiffness Index of 9 provides a responsive connection to the pedals, while still offering enough comfort for longer rides.
The BOA Fit System L6 provides quick, precise fit adjustment, while the performance-oriented construction keeps the shoe secure around the foot when you're pushing hard. An adjustable ErgoLogic removable insole allows the support under your foot to be fine-tuned, helping improve comfort over longer distances.
The outsole uses SCOTT Sticki Rubber for added grip when you need to put a foot down or walk sections of trail. The recessed 2-bolt cleat mount is designed for MTB clipless pedals, including Shimano SPD-style systems.
Key Benefits
Stiffness Index 9 for efficient power transfer
Carbon-fibre composite sole for a stiff, responsive pedalling platform
BOA L6 Fit System for precise micro-adjustment
Performance-focused fit for XC and racing
Adjustable ErgoLogic removable insole
Sticki Rubber outsole for grip on and off the bike
Recessed 2-bolt MTB cleat compatibility
Suitable for XC, marathon, trail and performance MTB riding
Who is the SCOTT MTB Vertec BOA best suited for?
The Vertec BOA is aimed at XC riders, marathon riders, racers and performance-focused mountain bikers who want a noticeably stiffer shoe than an entry-level MTB model. It's also a good choice for riders who spend long hours on the bike and want a combination of efficient power transfer and adjustable comfort.
