Magped Gravel Pedal
The Magped Gravel Pedal is a lightweight magnetic pedal designed specifically for gravel and cross-country riding. It offers a different approach to the traditional clipless pedal, using magnetic engagement to hold the rider's shoe securely while allowing a quick and natural release when you move your foot sideways.
Built around a lightweight xCarbon pedal body, the Magped Gravel is available with either a titanium or steel spindle. The titanium version weighs just 212g per pair, making it a particularly attractive option for gravel riders who want to keep their bike light without giving up the control of a performance pedal.
The 200N magnetic system provides a strong connection between the pedal and the supplied metal shoe plate, while the magnetic force is designed to release more easily with sideways movement. This makes the Magped Gravel an appealing option for riders who like the efficiency and foot retention of a clipless pedal but are less comfortable with the fixed mechanical connection of a conventional SPD system.
The pedal is compatible with gravel and XC MTB shoes using a 2-bolt SPD cleat mounting pattern. The supplied STRONG metal plates and positioning plates allow the system to be set up to suit your shoes and preferred riding position. The magnet height can also be adjusted to fine-tune the engagement between the shoe and pedal.
At just 86mm long, 60mm wide and 19mm high, the Magped Gravel has a compact profile suited to fast gravel riding, bikepacking, cross-country and mixed-surface adventures. Its sealed bearing system and replaceable components are designed for long-term use and straightforward maintenance.
