The Shimano SH-WM83 Women's MTB Cycling Shoe is a competition-focused XC shoe designed specifically around the female foot. Its stiff, low-profile sole is built to transfer power efficiently through the pedals, while the glass-fibre-reinforced nylon construction keeps the shoe relatively light and responsive. Shimano's Women's DYNALAST fit provides a more precise shape for riders with lower-volume feet.
The upper combines durable synthetic leather with breathable mesh sections, while the micro-adjustable buckle and Cross X offset straps provide a secure fit without putting excessive pressure across the top of the foot. The offset strap design also allows the fit to be adjusted around the forefoot.
Underneath, the mud-shedding polyurethane tread provides grip when you're off the bike, while the front of the sole accepts replaceable toe spikes for additional traction in loose or muddy conditions. The shoe uses a 2-bolt SPD cleat system with a generous adjustment range.
