Gear Up For The Coronation Double Century

One does not simply arrive at the start line of the Double Century. It takes months of training, and your preparation for the big day extends from training to nutrition and gear.

With 80 years experience in the business, we’ve compiled our list of essentials for the race day. Paul Winter, our Store Manager recommends all the following products, and says:

“It’s a tough day out there and I’d be drinking Cadence Marathon along the route, consuming an energy bar every 45 minutes and packing 2 energy gels for the last 30km’s. Try to get in some real food at the water stops such as bananas. After the race make sure you’re taking in a recovery drink like Cadence Revive or PowerBar Recovery. Also check that your tires are in shape, as you don’t want any issues on a long day like this. And good luck out there, have fun!”
