The Sram GX Eagle 12 speed was announced to the world in the last week, and this is a product we’re excited to see land in store! The GX level means the price will be significantly reduced, all the while offering similar performance levels to the XX1 and X01, albeit a little bit heavier.

When the SRAM Eagle XX1 and X01 landed last year, it was like a gold rush as mountain biker descended upon the golden stock eager to get riding with the most anticipated groupset in recent history. We’ve had countless clients upgrading to the SRAM Eagle range and we’ve only had phenomenal reviews from everyone who has made the upgrade. SRAM definitely delivered on their promises of a game changing range and now they  are offering us this level of performance at a price range that is more affordable for everyone.

While the Eagle XX1 and X01 may have been out of a number of riders price range, the GX Eagle range is set to change all that. We knew the technology would trickle down to the most cost effective ranges but we didn’t know that SRAM would introduce this range so soon. We’re excited to soon be able to offer riders on a more constricted budget the opportunity to ride with the same gear range that our Eagle XX1 and Eagle X01 clients have been riding with.
